What MPC bantam?

sebrights can be quite nutty and I had a mean rooster hand raised by little girls! i tell all my 4Hers to avoid them if they want a "pet" to show and stuff. the little brahmas are pretty and i love the japanese too.

I love brahmas but i want a standard but i also want a bantam! I can't decide. Any suggestions? Standards would give me more eggs but bantams are smaller.

I also like the idea of a japanese bantam. I'll have to get some in my next life

Anyone know what the prices are for MPC??? For day old chicks?
And shipping?

I am planning on ordering some silkie chicks from them this spring.

What is there quality?

I don't know there quality but their bantam assortment last year was $3 a chicken and $8 for pullets but all the other chickens were regular hatchery price

So they do sex their chicks for you for extra?

Like any hatchery that sells sexed chicks, layers and ornamental will cost more for pullets and be pretty cheap for roosters while meat birds will be the opposite.

Be forewarned! I bought and paid for all pullet bantams from MPC and did wind up with a little roo - black tailed white japanese. I did keep him because he's gorgeous and has the lamest crow in the world, but they're sexing system is not perfect.

yeah, i wish they had sexed bantams. i'd buy a ton

And no one has perfect sexing. Humans make error
You can always ask for money back or another chick
