what?? no egg today :(

Well my 3 pullets just started sleeping in the hens coop the night before they boycotted laying. They had two separate coops for a month but had access to the hens coop. I guess they finally felt like they merged as one flock. That could be it. I was just so excited that the pullets finally moved I didn't even think that it would effect the hens laying. Thanks for pointing that out ibarbidahl
Oh, yeah, that's probably it then. Introducing more chickens always stresses them out more than they let on, enough to stop laying for a day or two at least.....
 
Well it wasn't really a new introduction. We had them in two different runs that shared a wall since June. We open the gate between them about a month ago. So they all were going between the two runs and they would all go in and out of each others coops. But at night the pullets would sleep in there own coop. That was the first time that they had slept in the hens coop. I guess the hens said "Hey its getting colder at night come in out coop to help keep it warm" lol They seemed to move in there as soon as the night temps started to drop a bit.
