Heres an 8 week update on the lil fella. His comb didnt redden as early as all of the other boys, and i was wishing he was a pullet (ha!) But alas, he is still a he. The other cochin mix is however a pullet (so far!)
Hes got a nasty habit of pecking me when i reach for him or any pullet near him thay were working on. But if i cant get him brome of it, he'll be dinner in2 more months. (Since he really acts like hi intends to eat a chunk ofy hand/ arm.
Anyway: 8 week old nameless cochin mix cockerel

Thanks! I think he's quite nice looking as well, so fluffy! Its been nonstop rain around here so his foot feathers are a bit muddied up in this pic.

Does she act at all bothered by dried muddy foot feathers? He doesn't, but my other feather footed pullet goes crazy about it, she preens hers and acts all huffy when they're messy. Maybe that's just her, she's a bit of a ritzy little thing.

Nope, she acts like nothing up at all
