We've got a No Soliciting sign here at work. It is clearly posted in the window on the door, you can't miss it. What makes people think it applies to everyone else, but them? I sympathize that everyone is trying to make a living right now. I understand, I'm trying to make a living here at work and when I have a spare moment, I'd rather be talking about chickens, than politely telling some guy, who's trying to act like he's my long-lost best friend, to get lost. No I don't care that you've been here before and spoke to some woman who hasn't been here for at least the two years that I have. No, I don't want to buy tamales that you are selling from a cooler in your trunk. If you made your way down the hall to my office, you'll have notice the fairly new copier/scanner/fax-thingy, no I don't want to spend several more thousand on a new one. Yes, we are one branch of a very large national corporation, but no, I will not give you corporate's information. I'm sure our CEO would not appreciate me giving out his name and direct #. Besides if you really wanted to know, you could simply look at our website. As for all you telemarketing idgits who continue to call for a company and/or individual who has not been in existence or employment for several years, I hope someone with a redialing fax machine, dials your home, very late at night!
