What predator could have done this?

Any idea what would have killed this silkie/cochin? Whole chew through back. Insides eaten out and feathers scattered all around.

Did this happen during the day or night? Was it penned up? Was the head missing? My first guess would be a coon.

Classic hawk. Feathers plucked and spread about. Owls tend to eat the feathers. Raccoon would not scatter feathers so and area would tend to look wet / slobbered on. Meat pulled from a single area not consistent with fox or opossum.

We're thinking at night. Our goats opened the coop door and they all got out. Husband didn't realize this little guy didn't make it back in. Found his remains in late morning. So guessing at night but can't say for sure that it didn't happen at dawn ?
