    howdy,

i went out to let the A-frame's ramp down this morning and found that something had dug under the coop, most likely to get the table scraps i put in there yesterday, which included meat. thank goodness i did not forget to pull the ramp up last night... sometimes i do forget.

i moved the coop before i took these pictures. can anybody tell me what this looks like? we have foxes, possums, raccoons and skunks around here.

i'll never put meat in there again... also i am building a bigger and beefier coop, and this incident has taught me a lesson to leave a 12" skirt outward along the ground all the way around the run.

Possibly a dog? My dog would dig to get food.. [IMG] I'm not sure though. Thank God it didn't get your girls!

Looks too small for racoon so I'd sooner think it was a skunk. They are excellent diggers and scraps foragers.

Fox are very good diggers. Looks like the holes I used to find by my duck pen.
