Back to the topic: I'm trying to do Coturnix for a similar reason.

I am excited to do this. i love my buttons and i have wanted to do cortunix.... i may have to get a permit.. i gotta call monday. i talked with my DNR online and they told me to call DATCP and USDA. i will do that tomorrow. so... anyway, i better run. i am glad that there are so many willing to help .

I don't know what DATCP says but don't bother with USDA. I was told the same thing by my DNR & the USDA people laughed at me.

Boyd, I saw you're posts were edited and i just assumed you missed chapter one of the saga and/or just assumed i was a lunatic. No problems here...BTW, i dont even look in the mirror before at least 2 cups of coffee because there's a good chance i'd say something to myself that wouldn't sit well!


To anyone following the saga since the prequel, sue and i are gonna be bestes buddies and she'll proove that my quail will get to at least 4 oz!
