Recently finished Fowl Weather by Bob Tarte. It was great and I'd recommend it to BYCers (except not enough chicken stories!!

) along with his first book, Enslaved by Ducks.

Now I'm on to The Memory of Water by Karen White-- chick lit my sister gave me for Christmas. Also I'm listening to Eragon as an audio book on my MP3 player-- I do this while I'm driving, grocery shopping, cleaning house, and find the drudge work much less miserable.

I am reading Lord of the Silent Kingdom by Glen Cook. I just finished the first book in the series, The Tyranny of the Night. Very enjoyable fantasy books. A little more complicated than the author's Black Company series.

i'm reading "Jerusalem Interlude", the 4th book the Zion Covenant series by Bodie Thoene. as for school reading i just finished a book on Albert Einstein, and before that "All Quiet On The Western Front" and "The Metamorphosis." I want to read "Tess of D'Urbervilles" and "Persuasion"( which is the only Jane Austen i haven't read yet.)

I am just on the last few pages of Marley and Me..my second reading. I have hundreds of books and can usually reread them after some years as then they are like reading them for the first time. Can't retain all that info in my old head I guess. I have reread To Kill A Mockingbird many times just for the pleasure of it..that one I do remember. ha ha I also have the entire collection of Mark Twain's novels. The entire collection of Laura Ingalls Wilder ( she lived her adult life here in Mansfield, MO). If I ever won a ton of money I would have a kind of Barnes & Noble attached to my house..that would be heaven to me.
