I agree with Mars and say that just by looking at the last one they seem to be Dutch or some type of mix with Dutch. Very cute though! You don't know what the parents were?
Ok, before I replied this time I checked out the US breed specific information! The first is a Steel dutch (possibly a cross but could just be a heavily coloured mismark therefore would still be a purebred dutch. The second is the same, just the colour is different which is referred to as Gray. The third I would say is most definitely a mismark Gray dutch, this is what I would expect a mismark to look like if bred from two well marked parents rather than the first two that are too heavily coloured. Type wise they all look very dutch to me!!

I'm with you! I once saw an add for ACDs listing them as hypoallergenic and good apartment dogs.*sigh* Someone in my area on CL is selling baby bunnies in the farm and garden section and labeling them as "Mini Rex". Just by the pictures alone you can clearly tell they are not mini rex. It's a shame because now anyone who purchases these buns who does not know much about rabbits but say is maybe looking for a mini rex, will think they are mini rex. I sent a message to her telling her I'm sorry to inform you but they are not mini rex just by the coloring (one is a chinchilla) and the length of their fur. Showed her some pictures of what a baby mini rex would look like so I hope she informs their new owners that they are not mini rex rabbits. Sorry, I know it shouldn't bother me, but this is why people get misinformed and are shocked when they find out the pet they got isn't the breed they originally wanted. Almost like when I see people rehoming dogs on CL and they label them "Chiwawa" and "Dashound" Ummmmm how about you start with the correct spelling before placing the ad?![]()
Apartment dog?!? Don't those have somewhat the same temperment as a border collie?? They're a herding dog aren't they?I'm with you! I once saw an add for ACDs listing them as hypoallergenic and good apartment dogs.I sent them an email.![]()
Yeah, they are a high energy herding breed that shed at least once a year. I have one.Apartment dog?!? Don't those have somewhat the same temperment as a border collie?? They're a herding dog aren't they?
I really need to stay away from CL, every time I go take a look I get aggravated. We have a place up the road that builds sheds "The Amish Structures", I emailed them a while back asking if they built chicken coops. They responded with "that would be something too small to work on" or something like that. What are they building now? Chicken Coops!!!![]()
