UnlabelledMama, you might see if there is going to be an ARBA sanctioned show that is reasonably close to you. The Show Secretary could tell you whether there are any Rex rabbits entered; I have certainly seen them at shows in the past.

Ok guys I need some help Im buying a rabbit for the first time in 5 years Its a toss up between Flemish giant and Rex, I dont know what colors are available yet, I dont have kids so thats not an Issue I plan on breeding her a couple of times, Im so excited, Im leaning toward Rex but Some of the flemish are prettty also!!
Thanks
Aldo
I would go with the Rex. They are awesome. Plus, if this is your first time raising rabbits in five years, you may want to get used to them again before you buy the biggest breed on the market.
Glad you found someone. I knew of a mini rex breeder in S Windsor years ago, doubt she's even still breeding unless her kids got into them of course. $40 isn't bad at all. I was never one to spend a ton of money on a rabbit. My husband always said, "if we're going to spend more than $100 on another animal it's going to be a dog, not something that sits in a cage all day" lol
Thanks great suggestion!! I had Flemish for 10 years, I just wanted to switch it up a bit and wanted to try something new, The rex look so nice!!
I like the way your husband thinks lol, That is soooo true, Ove seen people asking up to 150.00 for a single rabbit, I almost seizured lol and they didnt even look as good as these Im lookin at a ginger colored one and a chinchilla looking one!!
