So we went to a farm swap this weekend looking for a new hen, and came home with two mini rex rabbits! Whoops! They are so sweet though, and soft as velvet.

Just wait a few weeks. This weird weather has my does acting more squirrelly than usual. My Rex doe, who is usually the most docile, kicked the buck across the cage when he tried to mount her a couple days ago. So I will put them back together this weekend since it's supposed to be in the 60's.

Here are the two new bunny babies! The fawn color is Penny, the black is Piper. We did get them with pedigrees, so hopefully the kids can show these with 4H. Now I just have to make sure that the original girls don't get forgotten b/c there are new bunnies on the block.
