That is the cutest flemish giant!

I recently just build my rabbits a run that they can live in full time. It was the best thing I could have done for them. I love knowing they have the freedom to run around. I call it the lop barn because only my lops live in it. I wish I could make one for every rabbit I have, but my backyard would end up looking like a village of dwarfs lives in it.

So I just make sure they get out everyday to stretch their legs, even though they usually just end up lying around.

Here's my new run, it looks smaller in the picture

And here's a picture of my 3 Lionhead kits, I have more due this week

This was taken not even a week ago and they already look much different. In my opinion this is the most fun age of rabbit kits. They grow soo fast.
Very nice rabbit run! Cute kits too!!

Awww what cuties! I cannot wait 5 more days then should have at least 1 litter born of Lionheads, then over the next few weeks will have some more! cannot wait. I sure do agree, from birth to about 7wks old is the most fun with watching them grow and transform :)

PoultryPower, post more pics soon! They are precious

I for sure will be putting pictures up!

Here's an updated pic of my holland does that I plan to breed next spring when my buck is old enough. We had a little photo shoot with them this afternoon. LOL

Such a cute picture. That doe is a beautiful harlequin!

And is the buck a tort? This is what I did with my lops, had a older doe and got a young buck. They got to know each other and develop a relationship before he was old enough to breed. Maybe it is just my human mind thinking this, but he seems to like her more than any of my other rabbits. He always does a bee-line to her whenever he sees her.

I'll take some more pictures of my kits today!

I'm unsure of the buck I'm getting - haven't picked a color yet out of the litter from my friend. The two in the pic are does, and yes she is a black tort. She actually has a nice little body on her, nice round head, short ears that fall right behind her eyes, nice crown. I'm curious to see how she grows up.

I have a predicament, I might get another rabbit at the Pennsylvania ARBA show this February, and If I don't, I will just breed one of my rabbits. I just don't know what to get. Here are my options:
Polish Doe for my buck
Fuzzy Lop buck for my doe (this would require more grooming, and I would have to bring TWO rabbits inside my house when the temperatures get extreme.)
English Spot buck for my doe (these do have bigger litters, and my mom is afraid I won't be able to get rid of them)

It's a tough decision. Oh, and are there any East Coast members going to PA ARBA this year?

Why would you bring them indoors? Or do you just mean in the event they have a litter in winter? I've always kept my rabbits outdoors all year round. Never had a problem, just made sure to have to plenty of hay in the hutches and water that isn't frozen. (I usually keep one inside one outside and switch them out when they freeze.) I love anything lop! The fuzzy lops are super cute, but you're right they require some grooming.
