That is amazing that she lets your little one hold her that way. Just amazing. Our does don't want anyone to pick them up and they've been handled since we got them at 5 weeks. I'm curious if you had any problem trimming her nails. I attempted to do it once so far and it wasn't too fun.

Ok, thanks :)

Here's a frontal shot of the rabbit's face.

Darling (both of them)!

I have the same questions.

I have the same questions.

I'm sure if your rabbits make it to 12, they'll be pretty mellow too, though it can depend on the temperament and how often they're picked up. Most people with rabbits pet them, but don't pick them up very often. Placing the rabbit on a carpeted table works quite well since they feel secure on the 'ground' and you can maneuver the paws easily to clip the nails.

She was never handled, so I was pretty shocked, especially since they told me she wasn't friendly.
She is really mellow, probably because of age, but she just has a sweet temperament. I think she's really happy to actually have attention and sunlight and fresh air to breathe.
The people who had her are good people, and they really didn't think they were doing anything wrong and did keep her alive that long, but she was such a mess I'm so happy they let us take her!
She did great getting her nails cut.
Honestly, I think she was happy for them to be cut because she couldn't even hop properly. They were so gross, they were inches long and all spiraled up.

I think she's blind in one eye. It looks kinda glossed over and bluish. I can't really describe it. But you can move your hand by it and she won't blink. She loves to be held though, I think she was lonely.

Thanks dutch bunny and kathryn p - that glossed over bluish color you are describing sounds like it could be a cataract. I've seen dogs with them often.
