I'd really like to start breeding my pair of rabbits, but I was wondering if it is too cold (we live in Maryland). If I bred them in the next week they would be born in mid March and its supposed to be in the 50's (*F) here's the March weather report for our area : http://www.wunderground.com/history/airport/KADW/2013/3/12/MonthlyHistory.html#calendar

Yikes you've got some cold weather right now >.< But as a long as it's warmed up and not getting below freezing in march where you are then I would say now is a good time to start.

It was super warm (at least for md) last year in march http://www.wunderground.com/history...tml?req_city=NA&req_state=NA&req_statename=NA (scroll down to the bottom) got up to 80* !! but the first time I bred my doe I did it all wrong and she had like 6 miscarries and 2 live babies, which later died because she wasnt keeping them warm enough... that was in the fall. :/ so this is my second time and my buck is getting older and I don't want him to suddenly die on me, I could just get another buck but I really like his size and colors and he's very sweet. so I really want to breed them but I'm not sure..

That looks pretty close to a blue steel to me. Does he having ticking in his coat or is the gold color just a shade. I can't really tell in the pics. *squints*

It appears to me to be ticking.

Here's some pictures. Maybe they're just opal? They are a mix of American Fuzzy Lop and Mini Lop.

The camera makes this one look a litter golder than he actually is.
