I read somewhere that you shouldn't bath angoras because the fur will felt...not sure where though. :/ Just keep working at it, you'll get it.

Right now I have two preggers (due any day now) mix rabbits and a new litter of three. I will post pics here when they are big enough to handle! :D

Cute!

Their fur is already felted, all over. One is so bad, the mats are pulling the new hair growth out of her skin. :( I've got the three bucks looking pretty good. They were easier than the two does -- probably because the does had kits most of the time and didn't get handled as much.

If you keep them inside the easiest thing to do would be sheer them. they will look a lil silly for a bit but it will sure take care of the matted fur!!!

This past summer I had to give my Lionhead boy, Bradly, a lion's hair cut because he wanted to run around in the fowl yard n would get yucky n all hot so solved that issue with some sheers!

Someone needs to post a new picture. I can't stand looking at this one every time I come to this thread. They are soooo cute!!
They're mini rex right?

I'd be happy to oblige with providing more pictures

but you're right, those little guys are just too stinkin' cute. Mine are all mix meat types. This one is one of my favorites out of a Palomino buck and a satin/californian cross mom. We are keeping one doe out of this litter to replace the NZ red doe we have, she's not very nice and I can't handle her much. I would keep this little cutie but I think it's a little boy!!

This is the litter of 9 out of the Palomino/NZ red. They are all doing well and are 8 days old today.

Oh and couldn't resist this one with Sweet Pea and her baby

Dwarf Hothot= DEVIL rabbit!
Seriously, many breeders I have talked to said they are nasty little rabbits with a need to bite. There are some nice ones out there, but they are hard to find.

Pretty rabbits everyone!
