Hello Newbie here!!
I have a black mini rex doe that I bought at two months old (now 6 months). A couple of weeks ago I purchased a broken mini rex buck and a broken red doe. They are both 2 months old. And a 8 month old blue mini rex buck, which I bred to my black doe. I cant wait for babies!!!!

I'm wanting to buy a bale of hay for the rabbits, as I pay almost $7 for a bagged flick from our local feed store & surely a whole bale will be less expensive in the long run....but all I can find locally is mixed with orchard grass or other kinds of grasses. Would that be ok for them?

I use orchard grass in my solid bottom cages, they like it. Timothy hay is still the best for them, though.

We put up our own hay for our horses. It has a variety of plants/grasses in it. Clover, fescue, lespedeza, & alfalfa. Would that be ok to give them?

My holland babies have begun their journeys to their new homes as of yesterday. Chestnut doe left yesterday, chinchilla doe left an hour ago, chestnut buck is next. I got another frosty in this litter and plan in keeping it since its a doe. My last litter of babies all went to new homes and my frosty (who was the smallest) didn't make it thru summer. I believe she died from heat stroke. :-( I'm happy to have another frosty.

the first ones oreo and she's cookies sister who is the second one. Oreo is also the runt.

oreo and cookie are mini lop cross.
The last picture is of Thomas and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what breed he is because I'm not sure.
