its the same bunny. The pics are of each side. 9 wk buck suppose to be harlequin.

Take it from a longtime Harlequin breeder - he looks like a Harlequin to me! Such extreme one-sidedness is considered a fault, but it's also annoyingly common.

I just got 3 rabbits . A surprise from my husband. I don't know their breed or age. any ideas?the black one in the back is male the other two female. Can I keep them in with my silkies? Any info will help me Thanks

They appear to be a dwarf breed, possibly a cross of two or more of the small breeds - definitely NOT Mini Rex, though (they don't have Rex coats). They also look like adults, and since you obviously have the buck in with the does, you may well have babies on the way!

So I own 4 rabbits. 2 Cali / New Zealand / silver fox crosses, & 2 Rexes. The Rexes came bonded, the meat rabbits came as a breeding pair. I'm trying to get the buck to breed the Rexes (they're 2 years old) but he just won't /: he's 12 weeks (give or take) and I can't tell if his family jewels have dropped /: any ideas? He as housed with them since he was 8 weeks till 10 weeks but obviously they weren't dropped by then and he wasn't fertile.
(In this photo I was trying to bond the 2 Rexes & the meat doe. They seemed to get along alright)

Either I'm confused, or you are. I see only one Rex-coated rabbit, namely, the blue one. The red rabbit is not a Rex.

"Bonding" is something that the House Rabbit folks seem pretty big on, but the results are mixed at best. I have had older does that lived together with no problems, but I have also had young does that suddenly started ripping each other apart with little warning. If you are serious about breeding these rabbits, be prepared to have separate housing for each rabbit.

X2. the red is definitely not a rex. And the rex looks like he has a very poor coat (no offense to owner)

This is my Oreo and cookie. Your bunnies and mine look alike except for the ears and are both named cookie! Mine are a mixed breed and littermates oreo was the runt.

How cute! Ive only had mine a week and I have fallen in love. they're the sweetest things. I cant wait to see how yhe kits turn out next spring.
