Hi everyone. Happy Easter!
I'm afraid I need some help again!!!

I brought the 2 babies with me & had little luck getting them to eat last night for the bottles. Unfortunately I don't know where I can find a syringe Easter morning. I have some at home never thought to bring them. Maybe cut the nipple top off and try to put it in the side of their mouth and slowly squeeze?

The formula is 1 TBSP kitten formula powder mixed with 2 TBSP water, then added 1 TBSP of cream which is what I found online. I have 2 babies about how much should each one be getting every 12 hours???
 
Will anybody be attending the Columbia, SC show on 5/17/14, or the Aylett, VA shows on 12/14/14?

I'm considering these two shows for this year, and would like to know if any of you all will be here!, thanks!

The exact amount in on line but try the cut nipple and side feeding. Cut VERY little off the tip. They take SMALL amounts at a time. Their tummies should look nice and round. Just be sure they swallow after each little amount. Wipe their genitals with a cotton ball with warm water afterwards. If you can get some into them every 12 hours until you get home to get the syringe, then that would be good. The milk should be warm, not hot. It should not be warmer than your skin. If it feels hot to your skin, it is too hot. Wrap them in a wash cloth to feed them. Swaddled they are less stressed and it makes it easier to feed them. It will not feel natural to them, so be gentle and patient. They get used to it and drink like a pro after some feedings. Be sure you are holding them UPRIGHT like in the foto I posted. Do not lie them down like a human baby. I wish I could be there to help. You really can do this.

Dutchbunny - I'm not sure if you have access to one, but I was cleaning out a drawer yesterday and found one of those baby medicine droppers. That might work if you can rummage through some drawers where you are at. I haven't used it in 7 years since our grandson was a baby. It's amazing what I find laying around this house of mine. Wishing the best of luck to you. Sending positive energy. They are getting better care from you than they did from their mother. Your cheer leading team is here for you.
