After livibg in Colorado with drought restrictions on grass and watering, moving to a desert country well I really miss grass. Here it tile or sand. If I get the house we are looking at im going to pull up some tile and put in some grass areas.

I have Lionhead and Satin rabbits. The lionheads are usually docile and calm but my satins are crazy! Every morning i will go out to check on the satins and one of them will either have chewed through wiring to get out of their pens or be balancing on top of a 3ft garden wire fence. Just this morning, one of my lionheads knocked a hole in the bottom of her hutch and went running around our property until i caught her again.

And please understand, I don't mean to go bashing on new members, but this is one of the reasons why we recommend against using chicken wire for rabbit cages. Chicken wire does an OK job of keeping chickens out of things, but rabbits can chew through it. Another reason not to use it is that it is just twisted, not woven or welded, and even a vaguely interested predator can make a big hole in a big hurry. Rabbit wire more expensive, but it does the job much better.![]()
some people breed them as soon as they get home sometimes I will breed as soon as I get home but other times i'll wait and let them settleI'm so excited!!, I will be getting my doe sometime next week!
Both my buck and doe are old enough to breed {I just don't have the doe yet...}, so do y'all recommend any period of time I need to wait to breed her when she arrives?

do whatever you thinks best for the doeYeah. I was just wondering if the stress would make it not healthy for them to breed?, it wont be that stressful of a ride. I mean, I'm sure it wont be non-stressful, but it is only like a 45 minute through one hour drive... so....
