Yea. I'm in 4-h and start doing rabbits for fun then last year some one was selling mini Rex babies so we got to breeding pairs. One turns out to be brother sister, but my minis coats are weak so I'm getting some thick coats from a breeder soon. I'm gunna start showing in the ARBA soon to.

I may be going to get an angora buck he's 3 years old and he is litter boxed trained and he comes with a cage food and bowls and a carrier cage and a his litter box and the women sheared him down for the summer

Day 37 and still no kits from my doe

weird maybe you should take her to the vet to see if she is prego and see if they can try to help get them babies if she is
I would but we don't have the money to go spend on a vet bill right now,she is pregnant cause she made a nest I seen she developed nipples and her left side bulged out a bit but now it's not??? I'm not sure what's going on and it's my first litter

People who raise rabbits for meat do not take them to the vet. It sounds like your rabbit is pregnant. Does she have a nest box? If not, give her one ASAP. Go to amazon.com and get a book on raising rabbits. I personally like the books by Bob Bennet. I have found them to be inexpensive and helpful.

Is there no one who you can call? Another person who raises rabbits near you that you can have them check out her for you? I know its hard not having money when an animal we care about is ill. Its like having a sick child with no insurance and everywhere you turn no admittance signs. How about a rescue shelter maybe you can ask if they know of anyone who could help you out. Lots of good people here but scattered all around. There are threads by state maybe sesrch by your city or county and put a few messages out. Ive seen many folks from just sbout everywhere here. One called Front Porch Swing has lots of folks from all over. I know your frantic and worried sorry I can only give suggestions.
