Poor little thing. Maybe the baby wipes have some type of chemical on them that is irritating the area. As a grandma, I might just approach it like I would a rash. I would try some neosporin or triple antibiotic ointment after gently washing it with warm water and a cotton ball. I wouldn't keep wiping it though. It probably is very sore and gets irritated each time it is touched. I know you are doing your best to care for her. I hope someone with experience is able to assist you better than I am. I really don't know what to tell you. These are just ramblings of a grandma who cares. Sorry I can't be more help.

I also am not an expert, but just a grandma. I agree, no rubbing, no baby wipes. Can you just run it under a cool stream of water for a little then lightly pat dry? No rubbing. Just a thought. Good luck.

I haven't called the vet cuz they were coded for some reson today but I'm calling tomarrow after school. I'm going to have to PM her and yes to the outside thread and outside website,

PLEASE HELP!!! I got a new zealand white doe about a week ago and she is about 2 years old and never bred I have a new zealand white buck that is about 8 months old. I tried to breed them for the first time yesterday afternoon and the buck had great angle and was doing everything correct but the doe must of not been lifting cause he never squealed/fell of and didn't get her. So I gave them a brake after about 15 minutes and she tried to hump him for a few seconds. Anyway I tried to breed them again this morning and the doe was biting the bucks side and they kept going in circles squealing than they stopped and kinda sat there so I took the doe out so they didn't hurt each other. I need advice/tips if there is a way to encourage her to want to breed/lift for the buck. Thaks for any advice!!!!!!!!!

At 2 yrs old,having never bred before your doe is a bit old. She may never "take". Most does are bred the first time between 6 months and 1 yr, after that success rates go way down for new mothers. As far as what to do, I would try introducing them though wire so they can't actually get to each other when/if she is ready she shouldn't show aggressive behaviors. Then you can remove the wire.

I agree with insanity. I tried to breed my New Zealand doe when she was about two and she didn't take. Just out of curiosity, did you have the two in a pen or in one of the rabbits' cages? Putting the buck in the doe's cage for breeding can cause aggresive behaviors from the doe.
