I feel like this Doe has alot of Promis. 3 weeks old and already free posing!

What rabbits are you showing???
Holland Lops. But... She didn't charge me the late fee. And these are my winnings:

I got A BOSB, a BOB, and a Reserve in Show which is practically 2nd place in the Best in Show. So happy because that mean I've probably picked up two legs (because each winning {BOSB, BOB} were in separate shows under separate judges). So after all the paperwork gets sorted out my Broken Sr. Buck will be a GC!!

Congrats! GC is a huge accomplishment! Plus, Holland lips are super competitive so you should really be proud.
Thank you! I'm very proud of him! But it all comes down to the judge. Under Jodi Hartman I got BOSB, then under Helen Brose I got BOB and BRIS, but then under Howard Keller I got 5th out of a group of five. But nevertheless I'm very proud of him and he will definantly be my main breeding buck!

Ah. I've had the same scenario. Years ago at an open Arab show my new Zealand won best of breed in show A, then twenty minutes later in show B (with the same rabbits) she got dead last. Very funny how judging works.

It's funny how each judge sees the standard their own way. They may even say exactly the same things about the same rabbits, yet rank them differently.

I once took two Harlequin junior bucks to a show. They were nice, but I wasn't wild about either one; the main reason I entered them is because I had a friend who had a junior buck that she wanted to put some "show" on before she shipped him to someone who had bought him. I figured my boys would give him something to beat (Harlies aren't a very common breed). These 3 turned out to be the only Japanese junior bucks entered. This was a triple show, and in that one day, each of those boys won 1 first, 1 second, and 1 third place. One judge even picked one of my boys as BOV, so he got a leg that day - not bad for an animal that was just there to fill out a class.

Well I don't think I'll ever attend a show where there aren't a numerous amount of Hollands. Anyways I'm very proud of my boy, Dabadoo, and plan on keeping him for quite some time
