We don't have a "hutch" it's a huge dog house like thing (I'll post a pic) that's 8ft by 8ft. There's heat lamps in winter. I've got cats, and many other indoor animals. Idk, I wouldn't want the poor thing being in a dog house that's too small

I really think because of their size and want for human companionship Flemish (especially if you just get one) they should be indoor pets. Mine was kept outdoors in a hutch with wire floor with her mom and siblings but I really don't think that's a good life for a rabbit unless you just plan on raising for meat you know?
Maybe stick with a smaller breed for now until you have a better set up?

Well my set up (not to brag or anything) is high quality, with 2 floors, hide huts, outdoor space and grazing area, but I defiantly don't thing a giant rabbit would like it. Your right, a Flemish is a house pet, but rabbits that live outdoors are pets too. I don't raise for meat, they are simply pets. I'm home a lot, and I think mine have an amazing home, I think that rabbits prefer being outside, running and grazing and burrowing, that's what they do in the wild.

I live in Florida so there are way too many predators for raising rabbits outside. They'd probably get terrorized to death by coyotes or cats or something that's why I wanted mine indoors. And also it can get constant love and attention every time it comes up to me haha

I hope you find a nice Doe to breed him with. He is a fine looking rabbit!
