Here are my 3 new rex rabbits. The single bunny is the lilac buck
The other two- opal doe and a broken castor doe. They are 12 weeks old in the pictures. Had them for a couple weeks now and they are so sweet and sooo soft

@Bunnylady & @ChocolateMouse thank you again for all your information on breeding (i will follow your advice) and for your experiences of nasty biting rabbits. I am more comfortable knowing that rabbits do not bite (90% of times) intentionally. I am sorry for your bites & pain, i just hope i do not experience any bites.
i want to learn more about breeding for color and dabble in this area along w/breeding for best meat rabbits. i would also like to learn about breeding for best pelts. can i ask what you breed for?
I have another Q: can caged rabbits be litter box trained, in their cages? even if they are 2yo? i was talking to a friend who had rabbits in her home, as pets, yrs ago when her children were young, and she litter box trained her 2 house rabbits and they shared the box w/their cats. i was wondering if i could put litter boxes in ea cage and train them to use it? i can only try, right? someone said to put their feces inside the box for the scent. she said this works for llamas.
thanks again ladies

yours i thought they weighed more than 3kg? do you have any pics of your rabbits to share w/us?
do you sell alot of kits?

We have all American Standard Chinchillas. We tried to keep New Zealand Whites, but they were so skiddish. My children sell kits each spring and make a little income. Chinches are so sweet & docile. We have our great great grandmother chinch who is, probably, around 12 lbs. She's great.

Over the years we have learned a lot by trial and error. Many instances of crying children because litters died. But we are much better in establishing a "doe maternity unit" when it's time :). Right now, we have two young bucks, one retired doe (great great grandma), two more younger does. We have had up to 30 at a time in the spring seasons. It's pretty cool. I am also enjoying your stories here on this thread!
