That's what we were thinking! We would have to find a Polish breeder if we were to get one. But we already have an AFL breeder. She is an ARBA judge from Ohio.

Of course! She emailed us a few months ago asking if we wanted a breeding buck because she just had a litter. We weren't ready then though, but she will be at PAARBA in Feb, so she will bring one for us then.

Before getting into Lionheads I was looking for a pair of AFL's to breed but couldn't find any in my area.

Their aren't any breeders in my area. We found one other quality breeder in South Jersey, and then this lady from Ohio, spout there are not many breeders in my state. My Fuzzy Lop was expensive, but was worth the price. I have been ripped off before, so it's nice to know that this lady actually sells me what I pay for. Im talking about show quality wise, personality is a while different thing. For example, I ended up paying $100 for a non-show quality Holland Lop, but he is very sweet. Am I upset that I was ripped off? Yes. Am I bald I bought him? Yes.

Yes, your very blessed to get one from a judge who knows what to look for and who breeds for hobby and not profit.

Well, she does sell for high prices, but at least I am getting my money's worth. I can't tell you how many people over price rabbits. I think everyone I my 4-H club has been ripped off at least once. About 60% of the sellers at ARBA shows overprice.

I'll be honest, I sell my lionheads for $100.
I do it because I get people from the internet I don't know buying my rabbits
and I figure if they're willing to pay that much for a rabbit then they are going to take care of it.

That's a good idea. You kind if have to do that with Internet selling. That also keeps them from going for meat or fur.
