I find this thread fascinating...

As for me, I was raised Church of Christ, but after I divorced and then married my wonderful DH (childhood Catholic and adult Mormon) we didn't identify with any religion for a few years. Eventually we tried a few different flavors of Baptist, then non-denominational charismatic, and finally Methodist. None fit. After my son started dating a Wiccan I did some Googling and then some more indepth reading and found that in general the Pagan belief systems fit very well with my beliefs and lifestyle. I do not yet claim any alignment with a particular Pantheon...still too new to it all. DH leans towards Asatru and the Nordic pantheon with a bit of the Native American beliefs thrown in since he is half Eastern Cherokee and half Viking.

I too find this thread fascinating. I had no idea there were so many different religions classified under Pagan. As for me, I would consider myself Agnostic.

My grandmother is a devout Irish Catholic. She raised my mother and aunts and uncles Catholic. Since turning 18, all of them have stopped going to churches except for weddings/funerals/christenings, etc. My mother let me and my brother choose if we wanted to go to church or not, we decided not.

I took a religion class a few semesters ago, and was especially in love with the Greeks and their mythology. I also have a fascination with Animism.
