He looks like a game cross. The feathers could be curled like that because of a hair dryer, when you wash a chicken and blow dry the wrong way the feathers kinda curl. If he was for fighting his comb and wattles would have been dubbed and his spurs wouldnt be that long because they use metal spurs on fighting birds.

Are you a taxidermist? I know there are a couple people from taxidermy.net on here, just never seen any post about it.
 
A game cross? How can you possibly label this bird anything but a mutt???? and anyway, if this bird comes from Mexico, they don't even use spurs, it's called Postiza and the bird would have spurs intact. It's a mutt..who knows what it is..really!

are you taxiderming it???

It is illegal to fight them but not to have them from what I understand.
