What s the oldest egg you ve hatched?

A friend of mine gave me some eggs that were collected on the 16th, 17th and 18th. My bator is FULL. I started this hatch n Friday so I've got until the 21th until my baotr is empty. The eggs will be 4 weeks old by then.

Anyone think I have a teeny, tiny chance of these hatching? I just hate to see them go to waste. She charges 40.00 a dozen for these eggs and she gave me about 20 of them.

Candle at ten days and I bet you have at least a couple.

I'd set them. I have set some 3 weeks old and got several.

I think it was around 3-4 weeks old. Hatched just fine.

If they are high dollar eggs I'd give hatching a try. We have hatched eggs a month old before. Expect a poor hatch rate and be happy with what do hatch.

OMG, I didn't realize that eggs could hatch after being so old...I am glad to know that.but you are right, be grateful for what you do get...

I have some older eggs I will be poping in the incubator in a few days. I say go for it you have nothing to lose!
