What scary movies do you watch for Halloween???

OH-I suppose I could watch The Babysitter this month, because I've already seen it so I know what happens

I thought I was the only person that does not watch scary movies . Well I don't but I do like old movies and there's a Movie called, What ever happened to Baby Jane with Bette Davis and Joan Crawford and it's not scary but just creepy enough that it plays during October on TCM. I love it. My daughter says it's so weird it passes as creepy and she likes scary movies and can sit and watch it when it comes on.

Dark Shadows (Depp version) & Hocus Pocus are family favorites too. Legend of SleepyHallow is a great one (but def not for the littles.)

Let’s not forget the old disney(?) classic The Ghost & Mr. Chicken.

I LOVE this thread idea! I watch all the old black & whites & some of the old colorvision movies. Anything with Boris, Bella, Lon, Vincent, Peter, or Claude will do. The Tingler, House of Wax, House on Haunted Hill, House of Usher, the original Phantom of the Opera (silent), The Raven, The Body Snatcher.... Theres too many to name them all.

This year will be very different for us. DD3 is still young enough to trick or treat, but it doesn’t look like we’ll be doing that.

we have done danger run (it’s a louisville thing since 1994 that is a scavenger hunt of sorts to find haunted houses) every year!!! we haven’t decided yet if we are still going to do the scavenger hunt part, but definitely not the haunted houses due to the mask requirement.
I told mr muddy today that I want to decorate “club muddy” and have our own halloween party on the deck this year (from 7a-7p of course) prior to watching Halloween and handing out candy.
We are also considering hanging a warning sign for trick-or-treaters that we will not wear masks nor gloves and i’m not individually bagging already individually bagged candy and allow parents to make the decision whether to bring their kids by or not.
