It is in with both roos and hens.....
The roos try to breed it but.....the poor thing runs!! Could it be a younger roo?

see.....funny. I thought with that picture, that it looke like a hen. Some of my hens run from the rooster.....I have 2 roos, and they have thier preference.

The colour pattern for this bird is that of a male partridge. A female would have far more penciling throughout her body.
