Is there anything chickens shouldn't eat? I usually just throw them vegetable scraps and stuff like that but is there anything that could actually hurt them?

Thanks i was looking for this page and couldn't find it lol.

I have that problem too sometimes, and now learning a new format.

I've almost got it down.

I have a book on chickens and this is what it says on toxic foods:
DO NOT FEED CHICKENS:
Black locust
Black nightshade
Bladderpod (bagpod)
Castor bean
Corn cockle
Crown vetch
Death camas
Jimsonweed (thorn apple)
Milkweed
Oleander
Poison hemlock
Pokeberry
Potato*
Rattlebox
Vetch
Water hemlock (cowbane)
Yew
* I've read in a few places that it's okay to feed chickens potatoes if you don't feed them green eyes or the skins. The green eyes/skins contain some sort of toxin. I'm not positively sure of this, so just to be safe, don't feed your chickens potatoes either.

I'd add salt, avocados, chocolate, rhubarb, snowberries. Green potatoes are bad for all of us, toxic to the liver.

I also don't feed mine onions or citrus fruits.

I've read various thoughts on onions,so I don't take the chance

Thank you everybody for your responses! Really appreciate it.

From what I read, no potato skins because they can't digest it. I've feed them our potato leftovers (no skin) in different forms without problem
