i know its minor but I don't want an infection or anything. I'm going to see how it is in the morning and ill update you. Im just worried that next time it wont be minor. at least they went for the feet and not causing bloody feathers. is there away to prevent this or?Just put on some Antibiotic ointment and she'll be fine!
If it's bleeding put some cornstarch on it, that will prevent any bleeding!

thank you, ill check it out for any future pecking problems. Will it be harmful if any birds consume it if they peck at the stuff?Blu-Kote it's spray-on stuff.
If you spray that on your chicken's foot where it's damaged the Blu-Kote should both heal it and keep the other chooks away from pecking it, it doesn't cost too much, about $7.99 on TSC's website.
I'd say google it or ask your local farm store.thank you, ill check it out for any future pecking problems. Will it be harmful if any birds consume it if they peck at the stuff?
My buff (the one the the photo) loves being held. she rubs against me like a cat and i pick her up.Personally, I’d leave it alone. How well do your birds tolerate being handled?
