What should I do with Pablo?!?

I have a five week old Coturnix quail named Pablo. I only have to quail, one female and, Pablo who I first thought was female...Turns out he's not!! How should I do this...MY friend is hatching some quail maybe I could do a swap,but then one chick would be lonely in the brooder all by herself.I really don't want to sell him, he's so sweet and I don't want anyone to eat him.What should I do??

you could do it. if they did not fight you could keep him.

Keep him and at least 4 female quail so he has company. Coturnix make great pets.

I've had a female in with three males (I was sure she was a he but I started to find eggs). No one in that group is getting bullied and they've been together for a year. They have a lot of space though. Sometimes a pair works and introducing other quail can be difficult, so if Pablo is being a sweet boy I'd leave things as they are. Unless he's acting aggressively and injuring the female there's nothing to worry about.
