What should I order?

From my bunch of spring ducklings, i like the Buff-Orpingtons best so far. They are super friendly, i can touch them without causing heart attacks and the little drake sometimes jumps on my lap though since this morning i am not sure about his real intention
The Magpies are a bit skiddish and violate the "breed standard" in almost all possible ways with crests, blue and green feathers.
The White Layers are giants! Loud voices and during feeding times behave like big white battle tanks. My Runners are afraid of them…
The White Layers were from Metzer's and the BO's and Magpies came from IdealPoiltry. @Magnolia Ducks came up with the theory that Metzer's ducklings are larger than those from Ideal, but less agile and i can confirm that so far.
Has anyone tried the Meyer Hatcheries from Ohio? - Since you're in Maryland they are closer than i.e. Metzer.
Maybe this little flock-planner form can help you making your decision. it is preliminary, i am waiting for the confirmation from Metzer farms that i am allowed to use some of their duck-pictures, so please don't spread this link too far…

Thank you very much. I value your opinion and I am going to check into Meyer Hatcheries. I like that it is not so far

Meyer Hatchery shipped me 9 chicks about 1000 miles in the beginning of March. It was 1°F when we picked them up and all were alive and healthy.

Ok I would like opinions. Everyone' input has been very helpful. Because I am being extremely indecisive I have decided to maybe get 3 different kinds of ducklings but I want opinions before I hit submit. Ok I can only get 3 ducklings and I wanted all females so I think I want a White Pekin, Blue Swedish and Welsh Harlequin. What do y'all think? Keep in mind I have 3 Indian Runner girls and a Mallard girl and drake. I figured size was good and they are all supposed to have a good temperament. Or should I just choose one kind and be done with it? I am pretty sure my dh is over this dilemma of mine. He told me to do some car shopping today instead of duck shopping. I have not done that yet. Ha!

it should be some interesting duck smut when your mallard drake tries to mate a Pekin. Our KC is having problems with that and just won't give it a rest. He had to go to jail Saturday.
Hehe. My SAY drake and my jumbo pekin put on a show that gives the kids nightmares
