Use the hefty two gallon freezer bags. I can put a 18 lb turkey in those.

Also, if you do a LOT of food preserving, you can find commercial grade vacuum sealers for ~$500 which will allow you to do greatly larger pieces. they also give you infinite options as far as bag size and thickness goes.

thanks so much guys.......that was exactly what i was looking for the finished product looks like you bought it from the store and it looks like it woul be cheaper than the vacuum bags i was looking at....... glad i asked the pofessionals........thanks again.
