What size harware cloth?

Any opinions on that? I also plan on having a sturdy tarp attached to at least half the run so that there is a covered area.

I agree socks ,,, the darn runs just need more money thrown at them

but that goes for the coops as well.
hubby and I have been going over that problem ourselves, wondering what kind of hardware wire and size, but a friend of ours gave us our solution, We have been given some bird averys , we just have to tear them down and reassemble them ( she used to raise and sell bird and has some very big cages in her yard ) this way we just need the 1/2 x 1/2 for the bottom 4 feet
granted this is not going to cost us money to get but alot of hard work since we have to tear them down and fix her yard where the cages were .
thank god for people who are willing to barter for work instead of cash
