What snacks DON'T or chickens like???

My chucks turned their beaks up to meal worms ... dried and live. They were both expensive and I thought they would love them. They didn't like them at all. One was even a little scared of the live ones. They won't touch worms from the garden either.

They don't care for apples, bananas, carrots...seems like the only fruit they like is grapes & watermelon.

I have found that my 4 buff orpingtons really like strawberrys and apples and any kind of vegetables. We give them most of our table scraps and they seem to eat all of them.

Oh ok, I was thinking maybe if the were young they wouldn't like a lot, it is REALLY surprising they don't like worms! Whenever I'm in my garden my sweet little gold star Crumpet is always right there, snatching up worms I don't even see! She got like 30 once...Her egg was really orange the next day! LOL

Awhh cute. mine are spoilt brats. I give them rump steak sometimes so maybe it's my fault.

Mine don't care for cabbage. Aside from that, they'll eat most anything!

My chickens don't seem to like lettuce, os uncooked cabbage or spinach...they also don't like carrots unless they are cooked.
