Anyone think they'll take on chipmunks? We have a serious chipmunk problem, they destroyed our garden last year and no fencing keeps them out!

I use to have a horrible snail problem before I got my girls...now, not a snail in sight...gross!!!

You know how cats drag back their trophy heads of the rodents and such they kill? My chickens will gobble those up. Even dried up a couple days......ewwwww!!!!!

My girls are such city birds. They wont even touch anything that crawls on the ground or comes out of the dirt. In hawaii we dont have much frogs in my area (and we do not have spiders thank goodness.) They would probably be walk right past it with out a care in the world. Same thing with slugs and snails .... It's small kine upsetting ...

Oh, mine eat spiders! Also ants, they love ants. There was a small ant hill this summer that they pecked at until it was a giant hole, they just kept hoping for more ants.

I love it when I get goodies from the garden, take them to the girls and one of my EE's doubts my act of kindness... gives the bug or worm the eye and then me. Total stink eye

By the time she decides it's ok to eat wham... another hen has scooped it up. I just say... you snooze you loose

My girls have it too good me thinks, they never eat mice I give em, even ones that are still warm, makes me kinda mad. Those mice I bet are loaded with protien.
