DH won't let me get any more than the one bator, and has hopes I'll only use it once

Neighbors probably won't let me get much higher on the addiction, either.

I think I'm on stage 4, but haven't passed it. I really have no place for ducks but would like a few......
Oh well.

I'm sure I will quickly pass through the remaining steps if/when we move out of the suburbs.......by the way, who ever thought the suburbs would a good thing!? I'm going crazy listening to you all with your abundance of livestock!!! I'm so jealous.

What step involves bringing birds out of shed/barn and into house?

What else do you do with a newly discovered broody w chicks on Haloween? Winters here hit -30 (O F) and it is a wee bit warmer in the basement.

I'm just at stage 4. When I went to get our 6 chickies from the feed store. I was so excited to see ducks. It's only been a week and they have all grown so much.

Just passed stage three. Seem to be stuck with "They need friends" and "I need more chicks".

Let's see... where am I .... my first HovaBator came today... My neighbor and I feed off each other's addiction by co-ordering all our new chicks. We're now up to 50+ birds... I'd say I'm somewhere between 6 and 8 but sinking fast.
