what stopped the hatch????

So out of 17 shipped eggs, I had 16 that went in the bator, then 14 that looked good after 10 days. In the end, I only got one to hatch. On day 19, I had 4 very active eggs, rolling around and lots of peeping noises. That lasted about 24 hrs, then nothing...for the past 3 days. As I said, one hatched....zipped out very quick and is doing great.

Today, I took the egg that was the most active days ago. I opened it up to find a fully developed chick with the yolk sack all absorbed. why wouldnt this little guy have been able to pip/zip his way out??

Sounds like you candled them. Were you measuring the humidity? Particularly the last three days?

Humidity was 25% .. Then during lockdown 70%-75%

This happened to me also, so frustrating!!! :-( I got told I drowned them with humidity, I raised it to 75% just like the instructions with my bator.

if the humidity caused them to drowned...wouldnt they be wet and sloppy inside when I open the eggs? These guys looked great
