What success have you had with apple cider vinegar water?

I have heard good things about adding apple cider vinegar to chickens water. Has anyone tried it and noticed improvements?

I used it some and I didn't see a difference, but I know that my chicks haven't got sick.
I use non medicated feed and my chicks are 9 weeks and are doing great.
