what temp?

Its been awhile sense I have used a still air, I hated the wafer thermostats. When I managed to get it to stay at 100.5 degrees (hand turned) I would never mess with it. If you are using a turner then the temp is 96 degrees according to info I found online, but I still had mine at 100.5 with a turner and had successful hatches. My current incubators have electronic factory set thermostat that is supposed to be set at 100.5 but ever thermometer I place in them reads 102.5. I’m not complaining because I have been getting darn close to 100% hatches from eggs that showed as fertile whne candled on day 7. I was lucky to get a 60 % hatch in the still air unit. So I say if its at or near 100 degrees dont mess with it. Someone with more still air experience may say other wise. Happy Hatching
