What temperature is it where you live?

30 degrees and windy! at 9:04 pm in VA.

Guys, I need some help here. 5 of my 8 8 week old chicks froze their legs completely solid.
-40 temps. Brought them into a +15 C garage in a rabbit hutch. They are eating and drinking enthusiasticly but I am worried. Their legs sounded like ice and they kept getting caught in their previous feeder, unable to bend their toes or move their legs.
What can I do? Anything I can do to ensure they'll be able to use them again?

I'd ask on the ER thread. But, I would think they had severe frostbite and will end up losing their legs. Sorry

- 7.1 F Tues 2:01 am. This is getting old fast. Generally our temps are up and down but, seems like it found it's niche, deep cold & frightful wind chills. Just not the 'fun' it used to be before I got really old.
