what the ? ............. BABY Goldfish !!!

If you are sure they are fish and not tadpoles I would suggest if you don't have some thick plants where they can be protected then i would get some at least just until they get a little bigger.Otherwise the larger fish will eat the small ones.
I also have a pond with goldfish which are the same fish for about three years.
Good Luck

lol another fishy grandparent. But my fish are tropical monsters lol. Some advice: feed them good quality food from now on. Otherwise the babies won't grow fast enough. Have fun with your baby fishies.

They are born grey for protection and develop their color as they grow. I have had black ones that turn into gold when I least expected it, even when they were 3 - 5" long. Give them some plants for protection. Mine would eat the pond pellets once they softened and flakes also. I had forgot that goldfish can be breeding machines, so I had to make 2 ponds, one for boys and one for girls! Also you can raise some in a bucket with a small pump to keep um from being eaten.
