Glad to help.
Hubby's making dinner while I look at chickens, Today was music class, 2 hours of third graders playing hot cross buns on the recorder, I came home took 2 asprin and told him to cook anything up but the egg hens. I'm more ready for summer vacation than the kids are.

Okay everyone, I am soooo sorry to keep you all waiting.
This was my very first hatch and I have been glues to the incubator ALL day. It was very nerve racking. I sure hope it gets easier the more you do this.
Now for the great unveiling......They look like normal mallard ducklings to me although I'm no expert these are the first I have seen this close up.
I did a few more searches on line and haven't found any mallard egg pictures that were the same color.
All 10 of them hatched and seem to be doing well. Once they dry off and I move them to the brooder in the am I will post pics. Perhaps they are a cross breed as some people have suggested but. Who knows. I guess maybe only time will tell.
It seems a bit like an anti climax but you know I still have 10 ducklings out of the deal
AND some of the posts on hear were hilarious.
