What the heck are these black chickens?

They are not really tame I have learnt how to hold chickens to where they do not squirm as much. The "tamest" chicken I have is my runt Buckeye rooster, Tony, who we had to handle a lot to clean his pasty butt when he was a chick

Hens are louder than roosters. One of my pullets let's me pick her up and cuddle her. Shes also the loudest one who's screaming constantly. I can hear her in my house and their coop is 100ft away.

So after thinking about it, i wanted to ask about your reply.

For the hens to be louder than the roosters, does that depend on if they are the alphas of the coops, etc, or sort of in charge in anyway?

If the ones aren't in charge are quieter, then I wonder if this could be a noise management strategy?

Thanks.

And wondering what you think.

Not in my experience. All of my chickens are pullets and all are loud. Some are just louder than others. And when they lay they are super loud. Some of them just randomly scream also.
