That looks like a pea comb.

He could be a cross.... He could be a beardless Ameraucana or maybe Easter Egger, with that gold leaking out... He's a tough one, I'll admit!

Definitely some sort of cross. THat doesn't look like a true pea comb to me, either, more like a pea crossed with something else.

well, since he did start crowing two days ago, definitely a rooster! The breeder agreed to replace since he not the SLW pullet he was supposed to be. I thought about keeping him but I have so many roos here...the noise level is getting worrisome.

I have some dark cornish crosses that look similar but brown. Cornishes have pea combs, and look like dinosaurs!!
The hens are sweet.
