What the heck??? I found something very odd in an egg!!! :ep

I have a hen that used to (rarely does any longer) consistently lay eggs with meat spots - and these puppies were QUITE large. I'd say a quarter of the size of a pencil eraser! They're safe to eat, but look really really gross IMO. I keep Blondie's eggs and we eat them (I pick out the meat spots) or cook them for the chickens. I think I had a picture of one, but not sure. I'll run & check real quick and, if so, will post here.
 
This piece of meat was slightly larger than a dime with well formed edges and tiny white vessels extending from the center/top. It resembled in shape/size/texture/structure a liver.

I would definately start candling your eggs before you sell them. I know if I didn't have chickens myself and bought that egg. When I woke up one morning deciding to have an omelet and crack that sucker open, I think I would be dissapointed and confused to say the least.
