What The Heck is This??!!

***WARNING POOP PICTURES***

Her poop looks better today :) Which I'm taking as improvement? She's still standing kind of "squatty". She hasn't eaten much today therefore hasn't had the second dose of Baytril yet.

But the poop is Nice and formed, black, not runny, no gel looking stuff and no yellowish gunk.

Here's last night-
400

And then today-
400

Keep an eye out for swelling. Someone else mentioned salpingitis, which is certainly something you should be watching for. Try to get that antibiotic into her. Has she ever laid deformed eggs before? The dark poop looks better than the diarrhea poo you had yesterday, looked possibly pussy or like there was a lot of urea in it..
Is it really that dark or is it just the lights? Is it black, because that could be blood in the stool.

Her poo smelled like ammonia terribly, if that helps? As far as color-it's pretty dark, like dark brown possibly black. I will look closer the next time she poops.

What would the blood indicate?

And she did end up eating all of the pumpkin that I mixed the Baytril in, so that's good! She doesn't act comfortable though at all, like she's still standing in there?? Hardly sits at all. Mobius suggested making her a nest, so I took a box and put pine shavings in it for her, she has yet to use it :( But it's only been a few hours. Thinking of putting her in there.

I had a veterinarian friend take a look at your cheesy looking poo, and she was concerned about that yellow stuff being pus. Keep on the antibiotics, warm, quiet, covered, food, water. she probably already has an infection, and it's uncomfortable to sit.

Thank you for doing that! I appreciate it :) I guess I didn't think about it being uncomfortable for her to sit, makes sense. Well hopefully the Baytril will clear it, she's not worse so that's something I guess. I was thinking one more dose in the morning and then put her back out with her friends? At least in the coop she was up on the roost at night resting, poor girl :(

Alright asked mom(another veterinarian) about the poo too, ammonia smell indicates high urea content. It looks pussy to her too. Black stool can indicate bleeding in the lower GI tract. She agrees with antibiotic treatment. Keep her separate.

Okay will do *thumbs up*

I noticed also the her poop is brown now, was definitely either black or really dark brown earlier.

And thank you again!!
