What the heck is with this snow?

Don't skate on the crusty snow. I did that over 40 years ago and have the two inch scar beneath my lower lip to prove it.

Dumb me with a pair of figure skates "skiing" down a hill in my front yard- front of skate catches, down I go, piece of ice makes an incision, teeth are showing through cut, ten stitches and much humiliation later I had learned my lesson.

What the heck is with this winter. I don't hate winter, but I am starting to hate this winter. 9" of snow last week with freezing crusted rain, 6" last night already drifting, another "possibly" major storm predicted for next Tues./Wed.

I'm getting too old for this stuff. Evening temperatures supposed to plummet into negative or single digits. Just the thought makes my old bones hurt.

Come on guys this is NJ. We're not accustomed to this.

Just heard on the New York/Tri State news only 58 more days of winter.

I went out last night to do laundry around 11:00 pm because for some reason the laundry room was PACKED all day yesterday. Boy, was it COLD! I was wrapping myself in my warm towels out of the dryer on my walk back to the apartment. I don't like winter at all!
